Canine Separation Anxiety 101

Bob Ryder has been a professional dog trainer since 2009. He is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), a Pat Miller Certified Trainer (PMCT-2); and a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT).

He’s worked with thousands of dogs and their families training for polite manners and overcoming fear and aggression. Since 2020, Bob has specialized in and focused his services on separation anxiety training.

He also recently began offering consulting and mentoring services for fellow trainers. He lives in Illinois with his wife Susan and their 1-year-old Labra-Daughter Lily Rose, and enjoys playing conga drums and other percussion instruments in his spare time.

Chris Zink

Exercise as Canine Enrichment

Chris Zink is a consultant in canine sports medicine, presenting seminars worldwide on coaching canine athletes and designing individualized rehabilitation and conditioning programs.

She is the award-winning author of Peak Performance: Coaching the Canine Athlete, Dog Health and Nutrition for Dummies, and The Agility Advantage, and co-author of Jumping From A to Z and Building the Canine Athlete DVD. She co-edited the first book on Canine Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, now in its 3rd edition.

Dr. Zink played a key role in establishing the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. With over 200 titles in various dog sports, she currently competes with her Golden Retriever and Norwich Terrier.
