Karen Deeds is a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC) through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC) and co-owner of Canine Connection in Memphis, TN, alongside her husband, Bob Deeds, a retired Federal K9 Handler. Since founding her business in 1994, Karen has worked extensively with pet owners, shelters, and rescue groups to address issues like fear, anxiety, and aggression.

With 15 years in the assistance dog field and 9 years in veterinary care, Karen specializes in reactivity and puppy problem prevention, offering online classes, webinars, and seminars. She has presented at events like Texas Unites for Animals, the APDT conference, and the International Dog Bite Prevention Symposium in South Korea. Karen’s innovative behavior protocols have improved outcomes for both high-drive sport dogs and family pets, transforming relationships between dogs and their humans.
